Vegetarianism is one of the most popular dietary patterns in world, and Indonesians are as well. This study was conducted to determine profile vegetarians Palembang based on socio-demographic characteristics, physical activity level, type, total energy intake, macronutrient nutritional status. a descriptive observational with cross-sectional design. Maha Vihara Maitreya Duta (MVMD) vegetarian population this survey. Participants who agreed take part survey were at least 18 years old, have been for three years, not pregnant or planning become pregnant, did any chronic ailments. A 148 samples acquired using consecutive sampling technique. To establish status, Primary data collected by completing food recall interviews during last 24 hours two non-consecutive days. measuring height weight The highest age range participants 30–49 (54,1%). majority female (61,5%) had college degree (56,1%). Most work (85,8%), engage light-to-moderate activity, normal body mass index (68,2%). ate lacto-ovo-vegetarian (59,5%). 6-10 (31,1%). motivations becoming health-related (45,3%). Vegans consumed more calories, carbs, protein than non-vegans, but less fat. vegan non-vegan respondents good status sufficient category achieving calorie requirements.
